Mankato area waterfowl

I was wondering if anybody knew any good duck hunting water between mankato and and new prague and up past henderson.  I don't have a boat so the water has to be somewhat shallow.

Frankly no one will tell you a think being there is such competition for hunting spots.  My advice is use topo maps and google earth, and then scout via vehicle and foot.
