I have a toro walk behind blower, that im taking the motor off for a go cart. I cant get the fan part off the shaft? Anyone have any ideas? Thanks for any help Im new to this small engine thing.

tatt guy, you really gonna do that? even if you get it
hooked up it will do 50 plus after 2 miles.
dont think you could find a clutch set up for it,
i used to race them things  so if you need more info
let me know.

ps  i think a 3 hp briggs would be more more suitible
for the kids!

thats what i was looking for but i couldnt find anything on my budget=not much, This was free so i figured id try to use it. But if i cant take the fan off i dont want to ruin it so i can pass it along to someone that needs it. Oh ya its not a leaf blower it a walk behind leaf sucker i guess..lol...thanks for the help

Set the engine so the flywheel is facing up. (fan part)
Remove flywheel nut.
Thread flywheel nut back onto crankshaft just so it is flush with the top of the shaft.
Have someone take a prybar or large screwdriver and pry GENTLY under the flywheel while you GENTLY tap on the flywheel nut. It shouldn't take much top pop that off.
You never see a FLAG BURNING at a GUN SHOW.
