Have you done any?

I've only tanned a few hides myself. Deer hide for leather mostly but have a few fur rugs I've done. Have done other things like antler mounts and gun racks out of deer hooves. Anyone else done anything? Lets hear about it. I will post pics of some stuff I've done as soon as I figure out this new fuser stuff.

Yeah a little bummed this year no time to go hunting, trying to get on my feet. I was fortunate to do some walleye fishing in Montana and was surprised by the amount of big fish out there.

LL, Where did you fish in Montana.  We did a Float Trip on the Missouri for Trout and did great.  Gonna finish up the Trout tonight! Where do you fish the Walleye.  We were near Helena. Nice mounts by the way.   Geno

I fished Fresno reservoir by Havre but I think Fort Peck res. is much better. There is also some good walleye fishing near great falls.

I've lived in Big Sky and Missoula. Where did you live out there??

I was in Havre for six months. I spent a few weekends in Bozeman following around another taxidermist. It's beautiful out there. I was in Whitefish last Feb. I love it.

It's a ringneck pheasant, no real story. It's pen raised and I wanted one to mount for my showroom!! They are always for sale if you want one let me know. I can get one and mount it or I can let you know where to get a live one or frozen one. By the way, thanks for the comment!!
