I'll be hitting the hardwater for the first time of the year this weekend with a few buddies.  :party3: Does anyone have any fishing reports for the SW metro (Prior, O'Dowd, Waconia or similar)?

I was on the Frontenac pond today, had a real nice walleye on & he broke my line as I went to grab him.  Pretty much filled my 10" ice hole.

Dammit anyways!

There was about 8" of good ice.

My buddy went out on Prior yesterday.  Most places are 6' he said , but there was a lot of snow in some places and could still be a little sketchy.  He pulled in some decent crappie and sunnies in the morning. Be careful.

We're certainly walking out...no wheelers or snowmobiles here, and we typically don't venture away from teh crowds, so we should hopefully be safe.

I'm sure O'dowd will be very crowded this weekend.  I don't ever remember seeing an open parking sport there during the summer or winter.
