I've been out to Chisago twice this past week. I hit the channel last Saturday and I saw a lot of fish on the camera, but the bite was tough. The ice was 4 to 6 inches and I talked to a couple guys who said the ice was still pretty thin on the Lindstrom side of the channel. I didn't verify it myself, but when they said there was steam coming off the lake when they got there, I took they're word for it. A couple days ago I went to the south bay and it was a sunfish fiasco. I got 9 keepers out of the probably 50+ sunfish I landed. I had 3 flags, one miss, one hammer handle, and one 27 incher. I saw a few crappies roaming around, but the report I got from my buddy is the crappie bite picked up after I left.(3:30) The ice was a good 7 to 8 inches.

I've got plans to meet a friend of mine out at Medicine tomorrow. I'm not sure of time and place I was going to talk to him this afternoon. I'm almost positive we'll be hitting the south west bay. He's been on Medicine a couple times this week, but I haven't gotten the report yet. Our plans may change, it depends on his report.
