Have not been there yet but there were a large number of folks out there fishing last weekend.  Little "neighborhoods" in about 4 different spot out there.  There were a lot of houses on Mazaska as well!  I intend to get out soon!  Take care and N Joy the Hunt././Jimbo

yeah my dad lives in lonsdale and I wanna get em out on the ice and thats close enough and usually has decent numbers

Sheilds lake long time ago great good fish. but few years ago to now very small fish sometime one nice fish. I think Shields lake will comeback for other 5 more years later...

We went there yesterday.  Tried 3 different spots and got notta.  Did not even see any on the vex.  Cousre we just drove out there and had no clue where to start but figured if we were in the area of other fishermen we might have a chance!  No such luck though.  Take care and N Joy the Hunt././Jimbo

i won't go sheilds lake cuz small fish but last 10 to 20 yrs ago shields lake very best good but now no good for other probably 5 to 10 more yrs later.
