We need some MN Wild chatter here.  We're playing the Red Wings tonight at home.  Should be a tough game but great for us if we win.

I don't think they "laid off" so much as they ran out of gas.  I was there and the last 10 minutes of that game they were changing lines I swear every 30 seconds.  Based on that game, they proved they can play at the best level for 40 minutes, too bad a game is 60 minutes...

They need more conditioning if they want to keep up with the best. 
Still a great game though... both goalies were standing on their heads for some of those saves.

Yep, if ye like watchin good goalie work, that game was chock full of highlite saves by both guys, but then I used to play in the net so Im probably partial.... I dont know if they ran out of gas so much (although they were flyin all night...) as they just did the ole pannick at the end of the game trick and werent attacking the man/puck like they did the other forty minutes of the game...actually they just lost it in the last three or four minutes.... I was lookin thru my fingers and pullin out what hair I have left at the same time! At least we can say they proved that they can skate with the best team in hockey the last two times they played em.  I wish they played Osgood, cause it seems the puck bounces a little better in our favor when he's in net.  Next game please!      -thunderpout

The Wild have played two incredilbe games. that team is looking really good ! I dont think I have seen two tougher loses !!
They killed off 2 5-3 one in each game !!! Special Teams are doing great !

what they did for MM is they acknolegded him as the leading American born scorer. He beat Phil Housley ( S St Paul kid)
I think that this was nice as He WAS a Minnesota North Star first ! so it seems fitting that we would honor him !

I do like the quotes in the paper today on how he would not mind finishing his career where it started !
I dont see the wild spendong that kind of money on a vetern C but man would he look good in a WILD jersey !!
