Peltier 2/23/08 Pics

I'm heading to Peltier tomorrow afternoon, will try to be on the ice around 3-3:30 or so. I'll be fishing off Old Mill Road somewhere.

Anyone want to go?

Me and Lil Spinach are heading to the lake now, I think Tim and his daughter are meeting us out there too.

We'll be off of Old Mill road and will have my Clam Yukon with the MNO decal on the back, stop and say hi. Tan Suburban with MNO on the windows.

Will have a full report and pictures tonight.

Fishing was really slow, we were on the ice and setup at about 4pm, we stayed until 6:30 pm. No fish, only marked a few on the Marcum. We spent more time entertaining the kids than fishing though. I'm sure if we would have stayed until after dark, we would have had better luck. It was just fun to get the kids out on the ice and let them play.

Great Pictures Pat!!  It looks like you, Tim and the kids all had a great time out on the lake today!!  It was a perfect day to take the kids out fishing, thanks for sharing your pictures!

Exactly, just getting him ready for the future. he wants to go everywhere with me, fishing, hunting, shed hunting. i take him with as much as possible, as long as the weather is decent. I always pack up and leave while he is still having fun though.

He went bow hunting with me last year and sat in my blind during shotgun season too.

We'll probably walk through the trails on the hunting property tomorrow looking for sheds, he loves that.

When we finally got packed up and were leaving Leiny was crying because she wanted to stay. That is great! She had a great time and next time she will be excited to go again! It even gets better! We didn't catch a single fish and the kids still loved it! Imagine if we would of caught a few sunnies.

Great time on the lake today....it looks like I might have to become an ice fisherman after all!
