Date: March 15th 2008
Time: Noon to 3:00 pm
Location/lake: Peltier lake (Centerville Mn)

Agenda: Fishing, Free drawings, On Ice Seminars, free lunch and socializing.

Each person attending will be given a free raffle ticket for the free drawings, you must be present to win.

MNO Staff and volunteers will be on hand to drill extra holes and to provide tips on catching panfish on Lake Peltier.

As we get closer to the date, we will provide an online map with directions and where we will be set up on the lake.

More than likely we will be walking on the ice at this time of year, the walk will be easy at only a hundred yards from shore.

We strongly encourage that everyone brings there kids to the get together, the weather should be nice and warm and catching panfish on the lake is usually not a problem. If your new to ice fishing and would like to learn more, please come out and learn first hand. My equipment will be on the ice for anyone to check out, brand new Clam Yukon shelter, brand new Marcum Lx5 flasher, Marcum underwater camera, Jiffy Stealth STX Auger, All the newest ice fishing tackle from Custom Jigs and spins, Lindy, JR's tackle and more. I'd be happy to demo the equipment to anyone. Other staff will have various equipment to demo as well.

The free drawing will be held at 3:00 pm (must be present to win)

Afterwards we will be fishing again until dark or the fish stop biting.

So, come out for a fun day on the ice and to meet other MNO members and staff. We look forward to meeting you all.

Halversons on Crow Lake Two nights accommodation for two people plus one day guided fishing. There are some stipulations and they are as follows:

Prize is valid from March 15th 2008 till March 15th 2009
Prize is a light house keeping package
Winners must provide own boat for open water season
Winners will provide own transportation if during ice fishing season
Licenses and bait is not provided.
Three weeks advance booking required and dates must be available

Package will include shore lunch.

1 combo ice fishing rod and reel made by Hi-Tech
and 1 ceramic pot that resembles a fish

I haven't been around much as school, tax business and work have me burried right up to my eye balls.  If I don't hit Mille Lacs for some late ice Jumbo's (Mayfly you will have a PM soon) I might be able to make this one.  I have only been on the ice 3 times this winter and I am going through withdrawals.

Not necessary to fish, but you can if you choose, hanging out and socializing is fine by us.

The prizes will be given away in a free raffle, each person attending will get a free raffle ticket. You must be present to win.

The get together will start at 12pm, I'll have everyone pre register for the drawing on a board or notebook. Raffle tickets will be available from 11am until 1pm and the drawing will be held at 3pm.

Anyone showing up after 1pm will not be eligible for the free raffle tickets, I'd hate to have everyone show up at 3pm for the raffle only and miss the get together.
