Ok....Here is the report. I'll let Loren add anything that I miss.

We hit the water just south of the dam at about 6am and had our first fish in the boat at 6:33am. From there we picked up a couple fish at almost every spot we hit. I think I caught 4 or 5 and Loren caught 3 or 4. We fished a couple wing dams from above and we worked a few banks. The ticket was fishing slow and although Loren said they have been hammering the bait lately they seemed to be biting pretty light today. All we did was toss jigs. We were going to run some three-ways but ran low on time and hung it up around 11. Loren managed to boat 3 northerns and we each hooked into monster carp! They were huge!

I have to add that it was a pleasure fishing with Loren. I have fished with a lot of people over the years ranging from pros to guides to average fisherman just like us and I will tell you he knew his stuff, no bs. He knows these waters and I learned a ton from him. That stretch of the river has always intimidated me and after 4 hours in the boat with Loren I feel confident that I could go down there and feel somewhat comfortable on the river. He has been fishing it for 30 years and guiding down there for 15 years. I can't say enough to express how awesome this morning was!!!

Thanks to Loren!

Studzilla. Nice fish you guys.
So how many different fish are we seeing in the pics? Three?

How busy was the river? Looks like it was pretty chilly.
Outstanding report. Congratulations.
