When i get something, i will take some pictures.. but the walleye i caught on opener, i released.
On white iron lake nailed to the signs where you launch your boat it, it reads" Walleyes are to valuable to only caught once.. and it stuck into my head that day, and i let him go.. He wasn't no biggie ya know..

Oh and hey, as i sat there, watching others launch their boats, they all took 20 mins plus, so i was happy when it only took me 5 mins lol
not bad for my first time, and loading it in, was even faster then that, i was very happy with myself...

But i had it all down pack from the forums here.. so i had everything undone, and loaded in, tripled check the plug, it went really good..

ok i am confused
In the rules under #5 it saids the fish have to be closed mouth to be judge
but all the fish here that are counted have open mouths...

so does this mean the rules changed again? and we can have open mouths on fish..

i need to know these things so i can have it the right way in the pic...

and now we dont need our lic in the pics, now its a bobber?

so please un confuse me with the fish and open mouths here and the bobber thing please...

I guess I'll field this one..........................

We prefer to get a closed mouth shot, that way the measurement will be accurate. Some species such as bass, if the mouth is not closed, you may loose some of your measurement. We are just trying to get the most accurate measurement as possible to be fair to everybody.
And please have the measuring tool as clear as possible in your photo.

As for the bobber deal, some people were conserned with the privacy issue of having thier license posted on the world wide web. That's why the bobber was selected as a simple substitution.

Clear as mud?

I think I have been around here long enough to make a rule suggestion... This is good for the site and for privacy worried fisherpersons. If you do not care to publish your license you can place a MNO hat in the photo.
The real cool looking ball caps have only been in circulation since around Feb. so the Year of the photo cannot be disputed.

I was just recentley asked to be an imparshal judge in this deal, so the management will have to make a call on it though. (not me)

The two fish that have been entered are approved as is period...... All fish from this point on will have to have a bobber in the picture and the mouth closed. NO baseball hats, NO fishing licenses, NO fishing rule books. A Fish board with nose against the end is the means of measuring for choice but some people do not have one and will use a tape measure. This is a fun contest. no entry fee. Don't make it hard people, this is to have some fun, do not get picky....
Hard enought to take a picture when you are alone that is why we have judges.

Masterbaiters on the board.  Not only that I didn't catch this thing on Millacs where (cough, cough) anyone can catch a Walleye 25-27 inches (GG even can, but her husbands probably just let her take a picture of his fish).  I ended up the day catching 4 fish over 20 (Threw all back but this one) The wife and I like to steam up a big one or two through the year.  I did however keep 5 others 17-19 inches today.  A total of 18 walleye I caught today from noon to 5.  The best part about it is it's what I call easy fishing.  A #9 Rapal (firetiger is a must), 99ft of Fireline (which is also a must) out, rod in a rod holder, beer in hand, when the pole bends reel it in.  The funny thing today was you had to be going 2-2.5 mph to get them to bite.  We did catch a couple nice Northerns, but I don't let those slimmy dang things even in my boat.  So my teammates are going to need to pick the slack up on them.  The only Northerns I catch are on accident.

Thata Boy Hunterdown.  Big slick I feel your pain.  But I still might head out today.  Time for a Hamms beer today so I can give GG a big stinky one right in the face.  GG's husband probably loves this challenge.  Now GG is telling him to go fish all the time so he can catch her a bigger fish then team Masterbaiters.

Got out on the river and did some bank fishing between rain drops for an hour or so. 5 small mouths and one northern. Lost a few more and had a couple of perch follow me to the bank. When I got home I found 6 ticks to add to the list. Nothing to post but I got a few tugs on my line and got a lure wet finally...

Nice going hunterdown.  It's going to be tough for me to beat you on the Pike and Bass.  But I should be able to up our walleye sooner or later.  Boy GG sure has gotten tight lipped lately now that she's eatting hind xxx.

THat's OK Cody you just keep fishing in your stocked pond.  Let the real fishermen handle the lakes everyone gets to fish.
