Judging a fish from a photo, is NOT as easy as it looks.........especially when the measuring device is of poor focus.

21.5" Smallmouth is GOOD   :happy1:  Judge Hunterdown

BobbyBass, here is my 19.5 inch entry.  Only had a disposable camera and poor photography.  Note: The tape indicates the fish is 50 centimeters or 19.7 inches.

nice fish Deadeye but you came up a tad short..

From posted challenge rules
10. There will be a minimum size for your fish to be entered. Bass will need to be 16" or larger. Walleye 20" or larger and Northern Pike 26" or larger. Fish will be measured to the nearest ¼ inch and upgrades may be made in ¼ inch units. There is no limit to how many times you can upgrade your catch. Remember that your teams largest fish in each category will determine your final entry length.   Judge Bobby Bass

Ok, I guess I didn't read all the rules. :oops1:
Anyway, here is one that's over 20 but just short of 24.  I didn't post them before hoping I'd get something bigger with better pictures.

Neither Hunter or I can enlarge this picture to see the tape, at this time it can't be scored.. Judge Ryan... want to take a crack at it??  Judge Bobby Bass

I hate to quote the rules Deadeye but

5. All fish must be photographed along side a clearly visible outstretched tape measure (Fish board recommended) and must include the staple item a "Bobber".  Having a bobber in your picture will show that the fish was caught this season. Any type of bobber will do.  The entire fish must be in the picture and it is important that the nose of fish is up against the edge of the tape or fish measuring board. Anyone of three judges will look at the submitted picture and give it a thumbs up.    That means the fish will be scored for your team. Fish pictures must be posted by the last day of the contest, no late or early entries will count. Fish must be measured with a closed mouth and you can swing the tail

I can give you credit for 22".  I really had to adjust the image to see any of the marks on your ruler.

Deadeye walleye scores 22"  :happy1: Judge Bobby Bass ( Judge Hunterdown, Judge Ryan )

This was a very hard fish to score. Pictures of fish need to be laying on a flat surface and the tape needs to be clearly seen. Even a wood yardstick is better then the old tape measure. Congrats on the fish Deadeye. that will move your team up.. to first! :happy1:
