Informal metro get together

I don't have time tonight but we need to start the planning of this get together, who's bringing what for food, paper plates, napkins, plastic ware, condiments etc.....

Lets put together a list of the people showing up and go from there, anyone else coming?

Here is the plan: Directions will be posted next week.

Date: August 9th 2008
Time: 2pm to whatever
Agenda: Pool party, grilling, Bring your own meats, share a dish and bring your own beverages or alcohol.
Place: Randys house aka Bonehead (East St Paul)

Things we need: 1-2 grills, paper plates, napkins, plastic ware, condiments, chips, side dishes, 2 tables, chairs, maybe a couple large coolers for the food and beverages.

Who's bringing what and who's coming?

Not trying to make this any more complicated than it is but......

I'd like to see as many as possible be able to show up, I see dakids cant make it, Girlguide and her family have another deal and Don Mcgruder will probably be late.

Does the following Saturday August 16th work for everyone as a secondary date?

I'm confused-I thought we're all going fishing?  Either way not looking like I'll be able to make it.  Family rebellion one weekend, and I'm sure the other is full up as well.

The 9th works better for me.  I only have one thing going on in the morning so I might be a litle late but should be able to make it in the early to mid afternoon.

On the 16th, I might end up having to work all day and I won't know till the 15th.

I definitely did not intend to make this more confusing, I just felt bad that a few members could not make the 9th. Now I feel bad that others can't make the 16th but the 9th works........ Cant please everyone, but we are trying.

I say we put this to a vote and the majority wins.

I will start a poll at the top of this thread and let it run for a few days, whatever date wins we go with. The poll will run from now until Monday (28th) evening.

i agree, either date will work with me. another scenario if it rains
we could postpone it till the 16th if the 9th wins in the poll.

This is the month I fish.
August is planting food plots.
Sept. is goose season.
Oct. is duck season.
Nov. is pheasant and deer season.
Dec. is ice time...................

Gotta harvest crops in there toooooooooooo...........

Oh, and bow season is in there too!

yes i have comcast broadband, i should have the man cave computer
running by then   right now working off the house computer.
should be no problem! otherwise maybe Pat can bring his laptop.

I have the party on the calender, and can't wait to meet everyone.  The boss works until 1:00 and I will be incharge of the kids until she gets home.  There is a parade that day so I don't know how many of my kids will be comming with me.  I will be bringing venison sausage to share.
