I think they got slot sizes on pike on that lake too, I believe 24-36 release (I'll have to check again to make sure)

So, if it ain't down pouring we should be able to hook into some decent pike.

Yup on the slot, as long as you get the hammer handles out of my way I should have no problem catching a few over the slot!  Think I got a map of that lake around here somewhere. Of course marked with all the good spots..

Feeling better. time has not been wasted, been sharpening hooks and looking into topo  maps of the lake we will be goin to. Even got a few reports that we may or may not think are true...  I sure hope you are practicing your casting as we won't be doing no bobber fishing !

Now you went and done it! My wife read this to me outloud and I am afraid the Puddle Humper over heard the conversation. Being refered to as a Trawler! I had to quickly rush out, dragging my bum leg and pat her side. It took me almost fifteens minutes of polishing up her hand rails to calm her down. She was pretty upset there sitting on her trailer. "Puddle Humper" does that sound like a trawler to you? She got her name in her youth jumping beaver dams and ramming floating bogs. I will have to warn you Hunter, there have been a few who have fallen out of the back seat into the drink for no reason at all. Be warned....  she has a mind all her own

heheeh I just saw this post and I think it is to my advantage not to read it outloud. The Puddle Humper is upset. I printed out your last post and stuck it on the back seat. She can't get rid of it and it is working like a bur on a saddle... I'd wear your vest the whole time you are out Hunter.....
