I buy all of my gear from JR's Tackle, AKA Fishing Tackle Outlet.

If Jr's would open up a shop up here (I am certain it would do well) I'd buy more from them. Otherwise I buy from them at the boat show. I buy some from Wally, otherwise Fleet Farm gets my money.

i avoid cabelas like the plague.  i try to avoid scheels too if i can.  i have rarely found a person in the fishing dept at either of these stores that knows anything worth talking about.  and if they do know something, they usually want you to know "how smart they are."i often shop gander mtn.  but prefeer reeds in walker, mn.
