Have had dogs with several names, but one that my daughter named about 20 years ago I always liked.  When discussing names, we talked about the dogs and their names when I was a kid.  Strange thing to me was that we had two different dogs with the same name at the same time.  On we named Penny and the other dog we acquired and was already named Penny, so it was interesting at that time.  So during this conversation my daughter comes up with the name of Nickle for the new pup, her reasoning, inflation.  Over a period of time it pretty much got abbreviated to Nic, but I still like that name, even if it was for a female dog.

I have never been around 4000 ducks but I believe they would stink but I really would take a 100 pigs over three male goats!!!!  :puke:  It must be the musky sent or something!!!!  Maybe I was a female goat in a past life and was going out with a really old billy goat or something  :rotflmao:  ICKY!!!!!

Dear GG.........................When I was a child I was forced to eat all kinds of icky stuff, #1 LIVER.  I learned that if I closed my eyes, pluged my nose I could pretty much eat anything!!!  Maybe this trick can work for you.  You need to see the chickens as more than smelly little animals that cause more work for you.  Try watching chickens from afar, with a nose plug just in case.  You will hopefully start to see how funny they are!!!  Open your heart to the warm fuzzy feeling that is hopefully starting to grow..................Then you can start to open up to the smell.  You will need to see the fun in them over the smell, kindof like drinking to many margaritas.  You know they are going to give you a headach but ohhhhh they taste sooo good going down.     Now when it comes to poopoo in childrens dipers you made it though that knowing that soon it would be over and you would have this wonderful child to take care of you when you get old and need your own dipers changed a nice trade off!!!!!

OK now back on track.........puppy names.  I like the Penny and Nickle when I was a kid my neighbors had a dog name Sooner.  Then he passed away and they got another dog and named him Later.

Oh yea and don't worry I leave my nut cutting skills to animals only  :toast:

Dear Jewel,

Thank you for the advice, I will be sure to use it the next time we decide to drink more than we should at an auction!!  But one thing, my babies grew out of the "poopy" stage(Thank God!), is there any animal out there that do that?   ;D If there is, then I'm all for it!  :dancinred:

I loved the names you that have been given so far.  My favorite have to be Penny&Nickel and Sooner& Later, those are some great names!!

Jewel, you should have never told the boys that your nut cutting skills were limited to animals only...I think they were all serioiusly getting pretty scared!! LOL!!  ;D Too Funny!!
