I just talked to Max the cat and he informs me that he's decided to sit out the challenge this year. Ever since Borgie bought him that darn lazy boy chair he just don't seem to have much energy lately.

That Max the cat is one laid back cool dude! He seems to have several different fur coats that he wears... I can see why he cut back on the can cat food, it looks like he is enjoying his pop and chips! How come I have a feeling he is watching a fishing show or shows the way he is channel surfing

I've decided at this time to refrain from my excessive trash talking and smack comments until some time in the future. As for now I will be sitting on the sidelines evaluating the competition as it rolls in. It seems that so far I've not seen anyone on the signup list that would present any particular challenge.

I would have to admit that any team that Borgie gets hooked up with could create some rumblings in the standings.

All set now for the MNO 2009 Fishing Challenge. As suggested by one of the esteemed judges, I went out and purchased a new ruler for this year. Unfortunately during last years Challenge my ruler only went up to 36 inches and I missed out on a lot of credit with my ruler only having the ability to accommodate fish up to 36 inches.

This year I will be able to measure some of those really big smallies and get full credit for some of those monsters since the new and improved ruler goes up to 48 inches. The way I see it, once the teams are selected I may have to supply my team members with the extra large rulers also. After we discuss our team strategy for this season there will be no stopping us.

I was wondering if Bobby Bass would extend our team the courtesy of using the Lakeiwanttobethere Lodge for our first team meeting?

It is off to the side of the main lodge room and was once used as a  ing room.  It should work well when you find out who your teammates will be and when you find out who has joined the soon to be 2009 M-N-O Champs THE LODGE     nice tape measure by the way, bout three times longer then you need though!

Well Bobby, I hate to inform you but, The Lodge Team domain name has already been registered under my name since we were each 1/3 of the championship 2008 team I bought out Big Slick's 1/3 ownership. You know how Big Slick was about a case of Hams. Therefore I offered him 3 cases of Hams and the rest was a done deal.

I know how important The Lodgename was to you, so I recommend that you register the domain name The Lodge Wineabees for your new crew.
