I know I am rooting for Big Slick this year. I have faith in the old champ. He will come in with that monster bass late just like last year.

Big Slick must not have run out of Hamm's yet, :toast: but when he does he'll be chuckin and a windin just like the rest of us.  :whistling:

BB,
I'll turn your Rascal into a 4X4 and get you a permit to shoot off it so you can enjoy the work of a good dog and a day in the field.  Sorry you won't be able to take a nap though.
No Rascal for me, and come on up north and I'll take ya on a walk in the WOODS not no grassy fields where ya can't get lost unless like you General you are to short and can't see over the corn tops. Up here we hunt grouse where ya have to work a little and you shoot in a split second not seconds. We shoot here at jets while you shoot at lumbering blimps :rotflmao:

Well, it's time for another vacation. Yep, Borgie and me are heading back to Minnesota to see how the other half lives. I figure to be on the water by this Sunday while Borgie will be at the Fortune Bay Casino playing Bingo and the slots.

Have no Idea what to expect with the fishing all over the Midwest being all screwed up this year. It seems that recently Summer has showed it's face for a short period. Of course the forecast is projecting colder weather with northerly winds when we arrive.

They say that "when the going gets tuff the tuff get going" so it looks like we'll just have to pull that rabbit out of the hat once more. We printed out the current team standings and attached it to top of my motor. This way we can stay focused and keep an eye on the prize.

                                           "Wanderers Forever" :king: :king: :king:

:oops1: Almost forgot Borgie's Raiders Not a bad team either :whistling:

My forecast says you will see a nice day on Sunday and temps to be in the mid 70's all week, This late in the year you are going to have great weather! Might even miss some of the winds that seem to have been here all summer long... I am sure when you arrive back home you will have to check the standings.. Da Puddle Humpers are starting to make some noise.. Have a good week you two.

Warning!.....Warning!......Warning!.......Warning!.....Warning! to team #25

How long do you guys think you can sit on a 1.75 inch lead and still manage to fall backwards into the championship. You best be warned that "The Wanderers" are putting you on official notice as of today. Unless you get off your butts you may be looking at 3rd or 4th place on Oct 31st.

Just a friendly reminder.

PS. What kind of an empty headed name is team #25?

Hey General,

When are you going on your trip to Leech Lake?

we are going Aug29th thru the 4th.  I figure I'll have a day to myself to go after eyes but after that it will probably be and evening or two and some pan fishing with the kids.  Then some sight seeing.

I don't know, does fishing in the rain with a bar of soap on a rope around your neck count as a shower?

I would use Irish Spring soap, rumored to keep the deer away from munching on your beard! and I hear the women like the smell, so it should make Borgie happy!

Pretty quiet in here now with Lee out fishing.   :fishing2: Nice weather just like I told him it would be to..  :whistling:  Looks like the lakes will be quiet here soon as I see the hunting boards are starting to fire up.   :fudd: Means the hunters will be putting their rods down for guns. No one is posting any fish, been a slow quiet month...Might have to shake up the standings here some myself!  :happybounce:

Well, Bobby is prolly right.....

I got 1 more week to fish before bear season starts...then gooose season...then bow season...then rifle season...then muzzle loader season...

Between all that...gotta get the corn and beans in!
Busy time of the year.

But, I could take time out of my busy schedule to fish with Bobby (if he don't mind me catching more fish than him again)  :whistling:

I am sure I will have no problem guiding you to another 40" perhaps this one will find it's way to the boat. :whistling:  :rotflmao:

Looks like we have a "date".... (Doug keep your mind out of the gutter)

Me and Bobby (or proper english) (Bobby and I), have the 25th of Sept. penciled in for a fishing trip..........

Maybe it should be called "Bobby's Butt Kicking"...instead of Hunter's Challenge 2  ?

Ok.....I know it's a friendly get together, but what fun would it be without giving each other some  :censored:  eh?  ;D

We'll I think it's time to Shake Things Up around here. With only 61 days left in the challenge team # 25 is hanging on to 1st place by their finger nails with only a half inch lead. There's still time to improve your teams position in the standings. I know that Bobby Bass ain't throwing in the towel till the end. The General's out there right now trying to upgrade his standings. Borgie's chomping at the bit to catch a big pike and just bought some new fishing gloves for Sept & Oct weather.

The Pond Hoppers are within only 1 inch of breaking into the top four. Our first 17 teams in the standings are all within less than an inch of moving up in the standings. Yep, less than an inch! So, what do you say? Are you willing to Shake Things Up around here?

I'm going after pike tomorrow. It's a little early in the season for them, but I'll give um a shot for 2 hrs. We need a :censored: 35.75 incher to tie for first place. A 36 incher would put "The Wanderers" on then top of the heap :king: where we belong :fishing2:
