My wife seems to think I have a problem....well, more of an obsession...
Does anybody else's garage wall look like this?

I keep telling her....the first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem.
But I don't think I have one....do I ?

  From what I can see you don't have enough room for all your fishing rods.  And yes-that IS a problem!  Smart wife you got there!  ;)

Solution:  build a bigger garage  ;D

Hunter.... Im probably the wrong guy to have on your side, but... I didnt want to abuse all the nice rod/reels I have so I mounted my racks on the wall in the basement, right on the paneling next to the fireplace, mounts & prints & such.... so they are all basically in my living room!  Now the disclaimer... Im not married... but tell your significant other how good my rods have it & maybe she'll cut ya some slack... either that or she'll hunt me down for siding with ya! :rotflmao:  Try convincing her that all those set-ups are each a work of art and should be treated as such.... :whistling:  just dont tell her I told ya this... ;D and NO... I do not see a problem what so ever....

Boy O Boy!

My husband Lee ran out of rod space along the walls years ago, so he now has them all along the garage ceiling to boot. He keeps telling me about this huge fishing garage sale he's going to have in the Spring. When Spring comes he never has time for the garage sale because he's out fishing.

You guys are all the same  :blablabla:

Hunter I'm proud of ya.

I think you have to look at it like this - do you still have any blank wall space in your house and garage? If you do you don't have a problem. If you don't see Woody's post.

My wife used to say stuff like that to.  All I have to do is ask her if she has bought another pair of shoes lately.   Stops the trouble right there!!

The only problem that I can see is you don't have enough! I started lining up my open water rods today for some reason you can't have enough of them..

Jdrummer sent me a pm for a pic of the side of the rack....
I figured I'd share in case some one else wants to build one.

Here is the pic, and the spacing is 6 inches.

That is a sweet set up Hunterdown! I am looking to make something like that for my truck bed. Last year I got way to many bent eyelets.

It's kinda like when Goldielox (when we were first going out)asked me how many guns I had? My reply was I got a pretty good start.
