just got an executioner goose call for my birthday, and i'm wonderin if anyone out there knows how to call on it.  i'm a competent caller on my short reed that i have (just some cheaper generic brand, don't know the name), but every time i blow hard into the executioner it just locks up... can anyone steer me in the right direction???

I maybe wrong....but, I thought that this call was a "finisher"
What I mean is, to use this for getting the ones that swing but won't commit.
And that could be the reason for it locking up when you blow hard into the call.

But, like I said....I could be wrong.

i have never blown a executioner but just a question is it locking up before you even get a note out? cuz if it is you might wanna play with your back pressure i know i had to figure out my threee short reeds all have different back pressures they like to preform at just an idea
