The worse was all the glass all over..  The neighbors all came over and were pissed. only owned the
property for 3 years, The trailer has been there 3 months maybe. Maybe now the bastards know that there will be nothing in there worth stealing. Oh well...  gives me a excuse to get back up there  ;D

I understand ya.. I have a 2 track that leads down to our shack.. everytime I pull in the driveway I hold my breath. we don't leave anything there that we can't live without. I've had a few buddies offer me glass patio doors and I've turned em all down as I don't want that mess if/when it happens.

Here's a crazy thought..... put a game cam somewhere near the trailer...maybe catch them next time-should there be a next time.  Hopefully not.  I'd suggest putting it inside-but not sure it'd work w/o them hearing it or seeing it.  And then there's the bad thought of-you forget to shut it off and it catches you or the mrs. changing clothes or whatnot.... :whistling:    So outside might be better!  :rotflmao:

Crap news Randy, I hope the person that got cut now realizes how stupid that was!

Trailcam rule #1; elevate it, and make sure it doesn't have a flash or the tweekers will get it!

I have a trailer and friends have a shack located 1 1/2 - 2 miles off the road.  We have had a couple breakins over the years.  Now we never lock the shack or trailer because anyone who wants to get in certianly won't worry about noise made while breaking in.  Which begs the question.  If we get robbed, and the perps are caught, is there less of a charge if the place was not locked?  For example is it worse to "break and enter" or just rob the place?

I agree on leaving it unlocked, But it is a borrowed trailer and fairly new. So we lock it and had to pay the price for that. This trailer is parked 20 feet from a fairly busy county road, One nieghbor
is about 1 block away, The other is a retired police sargeant and he is like 3 blocks away. But no
one seen anything... After hunting season we will park it at the ex cops house for the
winter.

I hate these types of stories. Folks have no respect and are just scum. You hear about it with hunting shacks and ice houses. Bunch of crap if you ask me.
Friends are like buttcheeks..........crap might separate them, but they come together in the end.
