Hmm I don't think so, my families Tapper name almost ended with my dad be he ended up having 4 Boys so our Tapper name is going to be safe for a long time.

Lets try Minnewaska this year. I'll make it. Also Jiggle has a pretty good area on Winny.

We fish Minnewaska each year, we usually have pretty good luck.  Last year wasnt the best year for Walleye, but we werent able to hit it as hard as we usually do.  Hopefully this year I can get out more.

Crappies and Sunnies always bite like crazy  :fishing2:!

Anyone in the area have much success on Reno last year?

Minnewaska is usually one of the first of the states good walleye lakes to give up to the ice. Good choice.

Its the huge lake next to Glenwood and Starbuck, about 10 miles north of Alexandria.  If you look at a map you cannot miss it!  I talked to my Uncle and there have been people out on the lake for 4 days, Im guessing they are catching Panfish or Spearing.  Ill let you guys know if I hear anything else!

I had asked the "powers that be" and due to financial & scheduling constraints there will be no official get together this year  .  However if a number of members wanted to get together on the ice as was previously discussed-then it's party on!      :fishing2:

What I meant by "official" was there will be no contest/prizes etc.  like we had at the Peltier get together a couple years ago.  Sorry for the confusion.

Speak of the devil.  I just sent some of the lures you guys have been field testing for me to Fish on!  Fish on is the only place they are available at this time.  Mention this web site the day of the get together and you get one for free.   Please keep in mind you will need some bait to tip these with.  It could be a cheap trip.  Bring 12(registered) friends get your(12) free jigs buy a doz. minnows, cut them in half and have a walleye dinner when you get home. {That's bold talk for a one eyed fat man }  The first person to identify that quote gets 6 of his or her choice of my designs at Fish on!  Biggest fish on one of my lures wins 50$.  Photo is manditory.  Fish on! will do the pay out if I can't be there.      Now there  are prizes!!!!!
