I have a bottle of doe scent in my garage refrigerator. It's from last year. It was opened and half used last year, but has been refrigerated ever since. Can I still use it this year? Is it or can it go bad?
I am ...not a real cheap person, but hey... time to go to store, plus bottle, plus gas to drive there, it all adds up.
So is it alright to use this season too?

John, I am anal so I would not use it, but that is just me.  It certainly will be better since it was refridgerated all year.  That being said I am going to go without any urine scents this year.  I am going to try and place myself in likely travel areas and try to intercept them as opposed to making them come to my area.  I just have never had any real luck with scents so I am going to save the money this year or put it in my gas tank!

Use it.  I have wissed off of my stand and had a basket racked 8 pointer sniffing around 20 min later.  Eliminating your scent is more important.

i used this last year, code blue doe estrus, and had two bucks come to it.  A 4 pointer and a nice big one.  and they came right to it.  I also had another fork come up and sniff all three wicks I had out in a row about 40 yards apart down a trail. he went to the first, then the next.. right under the stand and onto the next.  So I know this one works.  Just not sure if it goes bad.   It was refrigerated all year...

John I have used year old golden estrus since it came about. I always get a 4oz. bottle every year and rarely use the whole bottle. I refrigerate the leftovers and it has usually brought deer to me with their nose to the ground following the path of my boot scent pad. It works on does too. Fresh is always the best but I have seen the old work with my own eyes.

I to have seen the old stuff work. A few years ago my father inlaw used 3 partial bottles of more than a year old scent. He dumped them on the tree he was in and on my way back out to my stand I busted a decent 8 point down wind a few yards checking it out. To bad he had gone back in for lunch.

I would say you would be ok John. I never have much luck with the scents in general so I usually use them to my downwind side in case a deer would come that way.

The two times I used the golden estrus, does busted like crazy from the scent and I was 100% positive they were way upwind of me and I took the precautions to keep my scent from the area.

Id skip the scent all together, I've always done better without it.
