I would be honored sir BB. Speaking of Big Slick, I noticed he was visiting the site this morning and signed up for The Challenge  :happy1:

Yep! I can see it now. I have a photo in my desk from the 2008 Championship Challenge Banquet at The Lodge. If anyone would like a copy just shoot me an e-mail. Seems like yesterday

Bobby on the left....Big Slick in the middle.....Lee on the right.

I remember how we used to argue about which one of us was the handsomest.  :doah:

Ya'll ain't got a chance this year cause my beautiful Trophy Wife let me by new fishin line this spring. And my boat motor runs as long as it isn't opened to full throttle.
Yep, you poor dirty little punks ain't got a chance if I find the time to actually get the boat in the water.

(Hope this pays as much as the B.A.S.S.* Masters does.)

See thats most of you old timers problem is the fact that you have the boat you have the gear and have some of the knowledge to fish but you never even put the boat  in the water for the year and before some of you get realy pissed about this comment read the 3rd word again

It sure must be nice to be 28 and never have to worry about getting old in your lifetime. That's when young fellers like you need to suck it up and invite one of those old timers along on one of your fishin trips. Because their old and have trouble trying to launch and retrieve the old boat don't mean they ain't got the desire or the juice to fish all day. Oh, and before you think I'm mad.... I'm not. It's just that I can relate to some of those old timers since it's just a matter of time (God forbid) before I'll be in the same situation some day.

Some of those old boys have to practice casting with a cane.

Thing about us "Old Timers" is that when we go fishing we don't need no reason. If it's raining, no big deal, Some wind, I have fished in wind before. Launch is a little shallow you just bring a shovel and dig a hole for the trailer tires. No cell service, no deal if I want to talk to someone I'll bring them fishing with me. Football season I'll still be fishing, deep into October, and where I live there will be a good chance there will be snow at the launch. Don't need no excuses, don't need perfect days." Old guys brag about what they have done, seems young fellers brag about what they are dreamin"  :coffee:

3] A clear pic that shows the fish and the length
4] the mystery item must be in the pic as well

Fish caught out of the contest time while are impressive, are a non factor!!

Exercise regiment for the MNO Fishing Challenge Old Timers. :dancinred:

Please do not attempt to try this if you don't fall into the Old Timers Category!

EXERCISE FOR CONTESTANTS 48 and OVER  :fishing:

Begin by standing on a comfortable surface, where you have plenty of room at each side.

With a 5-lb potato bag in each hand, extend your arms straight out from your sides and hold them there as long as you can. Try to reach a full minute, and then relax.

Each day you'll find that you can hold this position for just a bit longer. After a couple of weeks, move up to 10-lb potato bags.

Eventually try to get to where you can lift a 50-lb potato bag in each hand and hold your arms straight for more than a full minute.  (I'm at this level.)

After you feel confident at that level, put a potato in each bag.   :toast:

:reporter; Time is getting short.....Better get your act together....Sign up now.
 :coffee:
It seems that the majority of last seasons MNO top rated fishermen & women have already registered for the 2010 Fishing Challenge. With the draft being only 17 days away it's highly recommended you sign up now. Timely registration will most likely land you on a team with a top rated fisherman on draft day.

Those choosing to sign up after the draft deadline may be less likely to have as strong a team as those picked in the draft   :doah:

 My Error! :oops1:

Thanks for proving my point :rotflmao: Just keep stalling and you may wind up with The General on your team. That should scare some sense into you!

Tick Tock Tick Tock.... time is running out if you have not signed up for this years Challenge... Don't be surprised and find yourself on the outside looking in come May 15th.  If you are new here this smack chat is very quiet, wait till teams are announced and then the real stuff will start to get flung around here. If you don't have any waders it might be a good idea to get some as it can be hard to wade around in here and still stay clean.. Tick Tock Tick Tock  :blues brothers:

Well, I just don't know what to make of it.  It seems that the king of smack is suffering from burnout. :puke:  Yep, that must be it!
We may just have to revoke his title as "Smackdown King". :king:   Since he's given up posting on the smackdown thread and hasn't even signed up for this years Challenge I have Grave concerns. :reporter;

I think you may be right Bobby. This may be his time off period. Somehow there must a plot behind all of this. Maybe his wife sent him outside to the weed patch (sorry meant plot) to plot his strategy for the 2010 challenge. You can't blame her after the poor showing The General produced last year. What an embarrassment for the whole family. Especially for the little Generals. That's why I'm trying to be as sympathetic and understanding as possible towards him during this period in his life.
