2010 MNO Smack Down

Well BB I'm not sure what you're talking about (must be the partimerse kicking in) but this is a triathlon not a biathlon fishing competition.  Just  and face it head to head I took you down last year.  Sure you may have won in time spent on the lake, Sharps beer drank, and exaggerating on the size of fish caught. 

P.S. Easy on the name calling, or is it do as I say and not as I do? 

Geeze general I love how you change the rules.. head to head I posted bigger fish then you in 2 out of 3 catagories. The Challenge is a TEAM event and the Team that I fished with beat yours. So how do you figure you did better then I..   

You kids need a spanking.  Just because you are out of this years challenge(injury or just can't compete with team dream crushers) does not give you the right to hijack this thread to talk about how you were loosers last year too.  The past is gone.  No challenge team has broken 90 inches.  Any past winners can throw away their  minor league rings.   Dream crushers will be the all time record setting team of champions.

Well General we can always start a little old fishing challege between you and I.. Same rules as the challenge same mim lengths for fish, total inches win.. We can find someone I am sure to come up with a staple item to put in the pictures. Of course this means you would have to start fresh and could not used this years fish or would that be to hard for ya? I mean it would only be fair if we both started with nothing on the stringer :fishing2: Perhaps the #1 Judge or Doug will be willing to do the honors for us?  I'll even wager a dollar because it is not about a prize, just the Smack

I'm up for that BB, but the contest only goes from now until September.  Then it's hunting season for me.  Are you in or would you just like to take your beating next year?  I'm thinking we could use the same staple item.  I do have another fish to post that I have caught in which I would send you the picture of to make sure I don't get to use that fish against you.  I honestly have nothing else up to this point.  Just a bit easier for me to only have to take one picture then 2.  But if a new staple item is a must I'm fine with that too.*1

I'll meet ya half way, contest runs till Sept 15th and you can use the same staple item. A red and white spoon with MNO on it you just need to add an ! to it. This way you still only have to take one picture and it will be different then anything you have posted. I will go out and get a spoon and do the same.

As for my wrist I am working this very moment on a swizzle stick brace to assist me and as for my coffee I just set it on the washing machine and hit spin. seems to mix everything up just right

  Maybe you guys should have your own thread.  You could call it something like the 2010 tournement of Loosers.  Only 1/3 of the real challenge is over and you General have given up.  Bobby is so old he breaks bones just getting out of bed. He at least was smart enough not to enter this year.  Stories of past accomplishments get better every year.  Has Bobby told you guys about his track and field days?  Too bad I found a picture in his year book.  At least he tried back then.  Still last place but he tried.

Hheheh Aww what memories! That was my victory lap! and the hurdles were just in the way like you. You know I think we have enough room for a third! that would give me two dollars and enough for a beer at the Lodge.. When I win it all..

DDS, I have to admit that was a pretty good smack and BB had a very nice comeback.  But if DDS entered it would make me feel even worse.  Taking money off of old people isn't something I usually take pride in.

Nice job Kenhuntin-  I am pretty sure that is the first time in challenge history the total was over 90 inches.  I predicted that would be the case this year.  By raising the bar you have sent several of our members to a different thread to hide.  My team however is excited to see some competition.   Keep up the good work.       (by the way who is letting you fish out of the Cabella's tanks?)

Boy that is pretty awesome.. seeing a 90+ on top of the Challenge board with 2nd place 15 inches behind.. When this all started I told Hunterdown I thought first would be in the 90's and here it took three seasons before we see the first one.   Pretty hard to talk any smack to that team.

Thanks for the kind words guys. I hope no one is discouraged to keep up fishing the challenge. All those fish are back in the waters they came from. The bass is in a north east metro lake with plenty more to be had. To offer a little tip it was in less than 1' of water before 7:00 am. I just got in from Fish lake in Pierz Mn. Boy is there a good population of largemouth there. The best one I brought in was 18" but what a phenomenal fighter. The surface water is 76-77 degrees and there must be alot of oxygen in it for the battle them grass carp put up in that piece of water.

I think your total would be good enough to win any other year.  It is unfortunate that the stars lined up for team dream crushers to win this years challenge.  You certainly silenced quite a few of the pretend fishermen.

Boloney Cody no matter what the temp, cold front, barometer, moon phase or Nostradamus prediction the fish are still in the lakes.
Get out on the water. Try a bait that the fish rarely see anymore. A  live sucker better than 5 inches. You will not be sorry you did.

Well...kinda quiet....just the ramblings of a dentist.... 

Lucky for all of you my computer at home is out.  My boat electrical system is shot and I won't be fishing for 2 weeks.  These minor problems will be solved soon and Team Dream Crushers will be back in first place.   

             General you should try a new lake.
