Bow - 22y/o, just started this year and was spoiled to get such a nice buck as my first deer

i was 15yo when i got my first doe, then i got my first buck the following evening. was the best season ever. i was using the good ol winchester 30-30. got my first deer with the bow 4 years ago(18)

Didn't start deer hunting tell I was 18. Thats when I shot a doe with my Marlin 36" barrel bolt action goose gun. 150 yards one shot. Took the deer home to my first wife and she didn't do a very good job of cooking it. Didn't go again for about 10 years. That's  when I went up north with the step dad and shot a 4 pointer with a 30-30 marlin.  Been hunting deer ever since. When I was about 42 I started bow hunting. 2 years later I shot a doe. The next year I shot an 8 pointer. Ever since then I've waited for the big guy.

I shot a doe with a shotgun when I was 17, shot a buck with a rifle the next year and haven't used a firearm for deer since.
I got my first deer with a bow this year (21).

12 years old 30-40 Craig bought a bow when I was 22 didn't hunt with it until I was 26 and shot a doe and a buck the same year. I have shot a deer or 2 every year but a few with my rifle between the ages of 12 - 26 and only the bigger ones get a rise out of the old blood pumper...and that don't happen too often, but when I am in the stand with the bow.....any deer I see gives me that rush! Anyone who hasn’t tried it, you’re missing out!

i shot my first deer when i was 12 with a 1953 winchester 30-30. it was a nice 6 pt buck and i have taken a buck outa the same stand for the past 8 yrs. started bow hunting when i was 16 shot my firt deer that year it was a doe n now almost 21 ive shot 9 deer with my bow including my 2 big 8pts ive got back to back yrs both grossing over pope & young. dad says i got the lucky horse shoe stuck in my ass  hahaha i think hes just jelouse

Age 17 my 2nd time rifle hunting shot a fork/spike (3pt) with my greatgrandpa's Rem. 742 carbine 30.06. since then have not deer hunted.

my first deer I shot with a rifle I was 14, which was accually this season. 
I have yet to shoot a deer with a bow though. Hopefully next year.
