I suck at cleaning perch the regular way so I tried it and it worked great for me.  I get way more meat this way.

Unless I missed something it looks like the rib cage is still in there.

ribs and spine.  Just like eating a bullhead.  Also works on small walleye.

If it only takes 10 seconds to clean a perch...how come the video is longer than 10 seconds?

Bones still in means not clean to me.  I would rather take the extra time to do it right so I can make a fish sandwich.  I also like to take out the lateral line in the ribcage area.  Takes about a second but gives a boneless fillet.

If you like picking bones, great.  I like to just eat fish so I take the time to get the bones out.  It don't have to worry about my four year old grandson chocking on bones either. :happy1:

Very intreresting but who wants to pick out bones? I could understand if you are cooking alot of them on the grill and just picking at them like smoked salmon or in a deperate need of a quick bite to eat while on the lake. but for a meal I would rather throw those little ones back.
