I took my grandson ice fishing yesterday and today.  He did really well for a kid under 5 years old.  I only had to bait his hook and take off the fish, he did the rest.

Like a true fisherman, he said fishing will be better over there, and away he went.

Hunting is not life and death. It is more important than that.

Nuttin better than gettin a kid hooked on fishin'.  The best thing is he'll remember those days for the rest of his life !  Looks like he's a natural !

My dad started me fishin when I was 2. Mom says I would cast the zebco 33, then lay it on the ground. Then I would hold the line in one hand and play in the dirt with the other. Funny thing is, I still always have one finger on the line when I fish.
I am the luckiest husband, my wife, Mrs Katfish brings home fishin lures instead of shoes n clothes......
