We have 5 people going into the last draft for the MNO Deer hunting contest.  If one more signs up, we will have two more teams.  Lets go now.

   I was checking the rules and am not sure if the team of 3 is allowed to score 3 deer  for each member of the team or if you score your highest 3 upgrading as in the fishing contests.  If I hunt it will most likely only be the muzzy season.  I would only have a chance at 1 deer.  Sorry for the confusion.

Scoring - Each team of 3 can register up to 3 deer submitted by any team member.

I believe this is a change from last year.  I looks like 3 deer per team this year.

    I have never entered this before because I can only tag 1.  If you don't get the last person to fill the last 2 teams of the late draft I will go in.  I would like to be the last resort because I have not done any scouting and last year when I did the results were so poor I did not even hunt.

Scroungie wouls join the draft, but he has already taken a spike with his bow so that would be an unfair advantage.

I want to clarify this...

In this contest you are paired up with two other team members and your team can submit/register three deer for the contest.  If you can only register one, that is great!

I encourage you to sign up and participate.

what the hell are you talking about hunter? you live in MN don't ya? there are opportunities to tage endless numbers of deer, and several places where we can take up to five, and even more where you can take two of either sex or one of each. any of us can only take one buck in this state. didn't read the rules but I'd have to believe out of staters count too?

now did I understand the team total can only be three deer entered? can we do any culling? I mean if I shoot a doe now and a turdy pointer opener of rifle, can I change up?

Yup, you can upgrade your deer, or your team mates deer.

    There looks to be a typo in the rules and he did his pic according to the rules.  (I'm guessing that MNO 2011 will be sufficient though.)

Just being prepared, I made up my sign a month ago.  It says "MNO 20011" 
Being the judge for the contest, I would have accepted either.
