I went out for a 3 hour stroll today, well, I call it a stroll because there weren't very many birds to be seen. 4 hens and 1 rooster was about all, and that was with a dog running the cattails. Seems to me the numbers are down around here.

How about you feller's?

Numbers are def down around here, but I'm still out getting birds it just takes longer.  I'm patiently waiting for the cattails to freeze so I can get out there.

I would think with the warm winter and soon to be spring that there should be a good crop of birds nesting with eggs and a nice production for the fall. I hope anyway.
