   If it was the Hammer it would only be a distraction from Bean Hole Days starting Tuesday night in Pequot  Lakes Minnesota.  The beans get buried tomorrow pm.  The festival starts Wednesday.  The Hammer sells shirts at this event.  If it was in fact the General,  he could have been distracted by anything shiny.

   Ok GO!!-- It's getting to the point that I may have to steal Houle's car, drive up to your store on a Saturday, and break in.  I won't  do it until  about 9 am so that I know you will not be open yet.  I won't take anything.   I will just leave you a couple of  of Master Angler worthy Rock Bass.  If I remember right you backed out of that competition too.      You remind me of Gust.  I take him to Burntside show him a couple of Laker tricks and then-all I heard from him (RIP) was  "I only fish Lakers  "  You should be putting on eye protection right now.  I think the  2012 Sporkfest. is coming your way real soon.    

   The rest of the old baby seal team is safe.  No reason to waste a good spork.

     Good point.  The pics have come in slow and the judges have a bunch of high tech software they are ready to use.  The  fish was scored correctly.   The new technology works.    It was  a test to see if anyone was paying attention.

As expected the fishing has slowed and the excuses and promises have grown.    There are so few fish being posted that Doug approved and undersized and under aged walleye.   Would have got away with it except for the keen eye of one of our retired fishermen.     I have been scarce in the Smackdown as I have been doing extreme wrist curls with 12 oz weights getting my wrist back in shape.    I would say I am at about 85% healthy    and by mid August I will be able to fish hard for the last two months of fishing up here.  :fishing2:  I would not be to comfortable with the smack that this here challenge is already over, The Da Youngsters have not even started yet and the Borgie beat down will be nothing more then a pillow fight for us.

I expect the shame I feel will eventually subside, and perhaps even the nightmares. I have offered my resignation to my fellow judges but they have refused to accept it. Instead I have received a severe reprimand and and demotion to "nancy judge". I accept my punishment and will hence forth strive to be the kind of judge my mother hoped I would be.

Maybe you should just file a grievance against the rules committee. You could argue that the minimum size is to big for the mediocre teams.   :rotflmao:Better yet, why don't you and the rest of your team go out on a Wildcat Strike and quit fishing in protest.
