Call Blackduck home.  Love to chase the perch around in the winter, and muskies and northerns in the summer.  Nothing better than some perch fillets out of the cold waters or minnesota!!!!

Hey there Clarence,

Glad to see you had a chance to meet two of our MNO heavy hitters at the pout fest. One of them is a bit heavier than the other but, that's because he drinks so much beer. :toast:  Anyhow ::welcome:: to the site and everything our ambassador's told you about this site is true.

Were a fun loving band of brothers & sisters so just jump in and feel at home. Looking forward to reading some of your fishing reports.

Hey everyone! I am a 20 year old college student at Concordia University in Saint Paul.  I play football here and during the summer I live in New Richland Minnesota while working for the Freeborn County Hwy Dept.  I am constantly out on my boat during the summer and during the fall I get out to the duck blind as much as football allows.  Im excited to get to use this place as a tool to become a better fisherman in Southern Minnesota.

Hello, my name is Joe Temples and I live on St. Simons Island, Georgia.  I deer hunted SE Minnesota for the first time last year and had a blast!  I live to hunt, fish and ramble in the woods.  SE Minnesota is one of most beautiful places I have ever seen!  Maybe this year I can hunt longer than the first 45 minutes of the first day of the hunt.  I shot the fifth buck I saw and am proud of my first Minnesota buck! He scored 136". Thanks for letting me join your forum!

So, you waited for the fifth buck and then took a little one anyway. :rotflmao:  Just kidding, congrats on your first MN buck and hope you get many more.  Welcome to our forum.

Howdy.  I am an outdoorsman from the Hoosier state.  I have been kicking around the idea of heading to Minnesota for a fishing trip and maybe a fall bear hunt in the future.  I figured I'd join this forum to get acquainted with how things work in Minnesota.

I have been fishing most of my life.  I love to catch bluegill, but I also go after largemouth bass and crappie on occasion.  I am wanting to branch out a bit and get into some walleye and smallies.  Northern and musky are on my list as well.  I am somewhat new to hunting as I have been chasing gobblers and whitetails the last couple of years.  I just recently bought a bow and I thought it would be fun to go after a black bear after I get my shot dialed in a little better.

I'm glad to be a member of the forum here and hope to learn as much as I can from the fine folks of Minnesota.

    • MN Hunting Land & Cabins for Sale
My name is Drew Laursen, I've been an avid outdoorsman all my life. I have a degree in Fisheries and Wildlife from the University of Minnesota, which is where I met my beautiful wife. I sell hunting land and cabins for Timber Ghost Realty. It's a great job that lets me spend time outdoors and interact with hunters. I enjoy bow hunting, fishing, grouse, pheasant and turkey hunting, and backpacking in the Boundary Waters.

Howdy guys and gals my name is Nick I've lived in SW MN most my life.  I am 26 and have been married 2 years now.  Been on the forums for a couple weeks figured i should introduce my self.  I enjoy bow hunting MN deer ( i rifle hunt Montana) also enjoy pheasant hunting little bit of waterfowl hunting and i do most of my fishing on the ice. Really got the itch for archery season to start up got my eyes on a couple decent 8 pointers. Well that's about it.

Good luck hunting everyone
