As some of you know, I was in the market for a 20 gauge. And the General had one for sale. So, we made plans to meet up at his home. We arrived early Saturday morning. After uloading, the boy and myself headed off with the General for some fishing while the wifes did some shopping. The fishing was a little slow, but we managed to catch a few. The weather was nice, but lake travel was a little tough with all the snow on the lake. We borrowed a snowmobile from the Generals brother inlaw to get around the lake. Once we were done fishin, we went back to his house for supper (which was awsome!) Then we decided to head out to some of the local establishments. After some beers and line dancing, we went back to base camp for a couple nightcaps. The next morning, the General and Mrs General made breakfast for us (which was also excellent!) Then we sat around an watched Duck Dynasty on the tube for awhile before we had to get going back to our own ranch. The wife, the boy and myself had a fantastic time, you guy's are top knotch! Thanks for everything!

it's always nice when HD or as my kids now know him as Uncle Si and his familyspend the weekend.  We did hit the big perch lake but withW the deep snow it was tough to move around.  We did manager one and a bunch of sunfish and a few pesky pike.  I think we managed to find a few watering holes and had some good times on the dance floor.  The only thing missing was our buddy Doug.  I can't wait for the next encounter.

Looks like a great time. Of course your buddy Doug would have loved to have been there, but at least he was lucky enough to be playing poker in the wilds of Wisconsin.

Yeah because that would have been his only one (and it probably would have said FAW-KINN-AE). That reminds me I should have sent some music along for you guys.
