Every time I try to make a post when I hit post I get message that my request has timed out and to retry making the submission.  I then have to hit the refresh tab and the post will go through.  This just started in the last week and it really annoying.  If I do it wrong the submission is gone and I have to start over.  Do you think it has something to do with my google chrome browser setting?  I don't have this problem anywhere else.

Not sure what's going on. I checked the time out settings and increased them, but the results are the same.

I don't think it has anything to do with browsers or operating systems....I believe it's on our end this time....I'll keep looking.

I am no expert by any means so take this with that in mind.  My uneducated guess is the web hosting service has stretched out their bandwidth usage too far.  As an individual site we have an allowed amount of bandwidth.   If we exceed it we get shut down until we increase it.  I am thinking the web hosting service is in the same boat.     Not only am I getting the time out but I am getting page not available a lot too.  Just a theory.  :coffee:

I found 122 errors so far, fixed those and dumped 100 pages of old picture files.....and it's still timing out.

Out of the 386 pages of attachments, I removed them till I got down to 104. Let me know if it's better.

Hey HD,

Some of the guys pitched in and wanted to give you this outstanding service award.

We appreciate all your efforts to expeditiously keep things afloat here at MNO. Between a full time job, family, working your land, and outdoor hobbies your days are full. We are a demanding bunch and go bonkers when MNO has a problem. Although we may whine at times it don't mean we don't realize who our extra strength Tylenol guy is.

Ok guys now you can start giving me the business for being a kiss :moon:

All attachments older than 2 years have been removed. Most of the errors were oversized avatar files and attachments.

Dew, yes the picture size was increased at one point because so many  members were having trouble posting pictures. I may have to change it back. Most pictures from phones are rather large files because of the high pixel count and high definition.
