Well, not really....I'm hunting season G this year, along with my daughter, a friend and his daughter. Here is my gut feeling....spring came early, I have hens on my property sitting on eggs for the last few weeks. Hunting is going to be tough!

I say that because, I have been hunting these birds for over 30 years and know the changes, and what to expect.

Anaway.....2 out of the 3 blind locations are up, and ready to rock!

I also plan to hunt the G season.  I agree with HD, for some reason the toms aren't strutting much this year.  Last week my son saw a few hens and heard some gobbling but no toms came to them.  I haven't seen any on the fields over the past few weeks.  I have three blinds set and ready to go.  Also have a few in the woods spots just in case.  Good luck to those who are heading out.
