All I see is some guy with his head stuck in a blind.

I guess this juvenile sandhill crane thinks that he's a turkey.

I'm hoping to get a long beard on the ground in the morning. Rousted them tonight and put the blind up 75-100 yards away

They are talking the first 30 minutes of light then quiet down. They went the other way the other morning, couldn't peel him from his hens. Had a jake in shooting distance(bow) but let him go. This morning I sat in the blind and could hear gobbling coming from opposite side of area but in the woods, went looking for him, sounded close so I set-up the decoy and found a good hiding spot and started calling an no answers.

3 separate gobblers this morning...talking away, but, nothing came our way.
I got back home from the one spot and had a tom talking at home. I set up and had him coming in hard. And he actually skirted my decoys at 85 yards...way to far for my bow....and he just kept walking.

I put one tom to bed already (not even dark yet) he's up in a tree...  So I backed out, and maybe get a crack at him in the morning.

Yesterday evening I went out and sat in my blind. As soon as I got there I heard a gobble off to my left in the woods. I would call, he would answer until I got tired of the conversation an stopped talking. At about 7 I could hear him further off so decided to become mobile for a bit. Got down in the woods an called he answered an I went that direction. Finally had him within 50 yards an couldn't see him and then realized he an his hens were rousted already. 7:20 which I thought was a little early but I guess it was there bed time. Snuck out but was unable to go this morning
