This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Iowa...southeast Minnesota..

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Snowfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches expected across portions of
southeast Minnesota, northeast Iowa, and mainly ridge tops of
western Wisconsin this evening. This snow may result in some slick
roads. The snow will transition to rain overnight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Rainfall of 1 to 1.5 inches is expected Thursday. This rain will
produce within-bank rises on area rivers and streams. In
addition, there may be isolated to scattered storms Thursday
afternoon into Thursday evening. The main threat would be
lightning and flooding.

Morning boys. It started snowing up here about 7:30 or so last night and still snowing this morning. Figure we have 4-5" on the ground this morning. Looks like I will be clearing some snow when we get home tonight. Otherwise it is just another day in paradise. Have a good one boys.

Mornin boys, got back from mom's yday about noon. Hope eveybody had a good Christmas, kinda glad it's over as it got a bit hectic a few times. Been up for a while so been on the computer since before 4, I'm glad it's 38* as it sounds like it's been raining pretty hard & the whole time. Reb's local wedder buddies were saying we might get close to 1.5".  We had a few extra projects at mom's but we've come to expect that. As we were leavin she asked about getting a new fridge , so my brother stuck around & took her to a couple places to look at a few. About all I've got for today, hope ya have a good 1

mornin all..  started snowing here in the late afternoon yesterday and it looks like we have gotten at least 6 inches maybe more...  right now it has slowed down a bunch but still calling for 3-5 more inches.  oh boy!!  not much going on today besides watch snow and maybe start cleaning that up some..  we will see..  have a good day all!!

Morning all. 37* and raining here. Received about an 1" of wet stuff last nite, now everything is shiny and wet. Lotsa sirens and plows going by throwing slush and sand. Looks really bad out for driving....OK by me. I've no plans for today, gonna take it easy. Had a dream last nite I was ice fishing, catching huge rainbows, and it was great. Would that be an ice dream? Must be HD's fault.... 
Back and legs are acting up pretty bad, so not gonna do much. Must be that danged wedder....be safe and have a good one guys.

You better kick back with a good book today Rebs.  Have some hot cocoa.  I may even do that.  I just started a good book too.  Well I have us all plowed out.  I would say about 6" here too.  Fairly fluffy stuff.  Still snowing but small flakes.  Winds up to 35 as the day goes on.  That will be a hoot.  Kind of looking forward to it.  LOL  Hey that's Retirement.  I do have an order to get out so that will be top priority.  First I think I may have some bacon and eggs.  I will do the bacon in a cast iron pan cuz I need bacon grease in my cup in the frig.  I cleaned it out.

Yup a coffee cup with a snack bag over it loosely to cover it.  Done it for years.  Never know when you may need a dollop of bacon grease.

Yup, we do the same. Use it instead of the spray canola oil, especially frying fish. Usually not kept in the fridge though.

We got about 4" of snow overnight. Pulled the trash can and the recycle down to the road. Went back to start cleaning the vehicles off...the plow went by and the cans went in the ditch 
Then it started to rain while I was picking up the trash & cans....
It has changed back to snow now....blah!

Last night I put out both the recycle and garbage bins and then realized it will come a day later....
