Mornin', folk. -4* here, supposed to be the last day of that before warming up and bringing in snow, sleet, snizzle, and frizzle. I have 2 thick slab pig steaks thawed out...they're begging for the Weber and some applewood...we'll see.

Nicer here today too.  Hopefully done with the 20 below stuff.  Looks like a warm up next week..  Like in the 30's.  We don't want it too warm though.  Gets too messy on the ice..  Short week as I have Fri off to do my Health Dynamics at Bemidji.  It is a half day physical.  A great checkup for my wife and I paid for my my union.  My Dr. is really impressed with how thorough it is.  So now I have to eat healthy all week.  I guess that won't hurt me neither.

Morning all. Yep, back in paradise. Had a good weekend with the grandkids. Did some fishing and snowmobiling. Did not do much catching, but we had fun. Well, back to the 5 day grind. have a good one all.

Already Tuesday for me (cause I have Friday off)
But I still will have my 40 in by Thursday. I have a couple of die cast machines I'll be working on till fishing Friday.

Got some lasagna for lunch that my sister in law made for me....life is good.

Mornin'? Well afternoon then! Had another loss on Friday with the passing of a good friend's Dad. He was like a Dad to me as well. Visitation tonight and funeral tomorrow. Got Mrs. Cheviot's family Christmas out of the way yesterday. Had a set of twin lambs overnight. Saw a ewe that was bagged up pretty good last night when I was hauling water but thought it was a week or 10 days yet until she'd lamb. New lambs are doing fine and they dodged the coldest weather. Worst part is looking around at noon when I went home to check on them, appears to be a few more ewes that'll lamb in January. Seldom get to see the animals in daylight so it's become like farming by the Braille method.  :bonk:

18 here & no snow yet. We had a light dusting yesterday afternoon. They're talkin a pretty good NW wind for us today so it might be another day for a some indoor projects. Sounds like 2-3 days of the -20 to -30 coming for the end of the week as well. Still smiling over the ending of the football game last night, as I'm not a big Nick Saban/ Alabama fan. Some slippery roads out there again so be careful, guys. Hope you enjoy the day
