morning. in rapids now!!!! leaves are starting to turn colors, maple trees are losing its leaves. only seen 1 grouse. went back to check on deer stands,  stands look good but need to remove fallen trees on my trails. deer had 4 ground scrapes, then seen a 4 pointer walking back to one of the stands!!!!!

Rainy and 54* here. Nuttin' goin' on today, just kind of a lazy day for once. Just gonna take it easy. Will be havin' that pigger for lunch or dinner today, Delmar. Good luck with the Kaerpernoscopy, Mike! Ask 'em when they're done if they found that Zippo lighter ya lost back in '77......

Whoa..... what a busy weekend...
The rehearsal was on Friday in Prior Lake, the groom's dinner was Friday night at the Minnesota Horse & Hunt Club. Saturday was the wedding, that went all day....far into the evening.

Sunday, was the "Walk out the Darkness" for suicide prevention around Como Lake in Saint Paul. Afterwards, we stopped for dinner at Grumpy's bar and grill on Snelling....then drove home.

Today, we both skipped work just to unwind....

Morning all, well it's back to work here. I had a great time away and a good weekend once I got back. Went to the casino and hit $2500 within the first five minutes of being there then on Sunday I got my first eagle ever on the golf course, it was the most beautiful I mean lucky shot ever. It was a 100 yard worm burner, hit the back lip of the sand trap bounced  up onto the green and rolled about 20 yards into the hole. If you can't hit them good hit them with luck either way it counts. Y'all have a good day

Wow Coffee I'm glad you got the cash and a great golf game.  I don't play golf but it must of been like getting a 10  pound walleye.  I've been out of the system for a couple of days because I took a fall in my bedroom bathroom.  Been walking in that bathroom for over 20 years and this is the first time I took a fall.  Not well lit in there but I had some excersise equipment I moved earlier for cleaning and that's what I tripped on.  I was sleeping and woke up to take a wiz and it happened.  Got a good cut on my forehead and sat on the throne and noticed blood dripping on the floor.  My wife woke up and turned on the light and the place looked like a forensic scene.  Bleeding good and my wife took me to ER.  Some stiches.  Doc said I had a concussion.  I now have a night light in the bathroom.  good luck.

Dammit RH now you can't be a QB for the Vikes.  lol  Hey that is a good lesson that we all have to be careful.  It is so easy to do something like RH did.  We don't bounce as good as we used to.  It is going to be warm here today but very windy.  Even stronger winds tonight as in gusts to 35.  Rain tonight and maybe tomorrow.  Glad it isn't getting real cold yet although the cooler weather feels nice.  Man the trees are really changing colors here and leaves are dropping like crazy.

mornin all, survived yesterdays ordeal thankfully!!!  RH holly crap glad to hear all OK, we have a night light in the bathroom, the wife said we need it so it's still there, and I like it there. happy b-day Glenn and hope all goes well for your wife!!!!   got to run to Alex today and do a couple errands, nothing big.. going to buy a couple whole hams and give them to the senior nutrition center to help them out and maybe one for the a woman's shelter too.  a friend and I are doing that..  what the heck..  glad to hear you had a good time up here Coffee and then more when you got home!!  have a good day all!!!

Soooo the big 60, huh?   ,glenn We had 55 & a 10 mph SE wind goin early so no  again this morning. They're talkin rain for us possibly this pm but more likely tonight. Nothin too pressing on the schedule for today unless I wan tto try to get a little mowin done before the rain. have a good 1, everyone.

well ended up with 3 hams and a turkey, 2 hams for the senior center and the other ham and turkey to woman's shelter.  they were very happy and such a small thing to do for them.. great way to start the day!!!!
