Mornin boys, the thermostat says it's 21 outside. According to Stanley  ;) there's another 5 1/2" layin on the ground out there. By my calulations  that puts us a little north of 2 ft of snow in the last 7 days, closer to 26" here actually. Trees are already movin pretty good here too, 10-20 mph today with gusts to 30. The forecast for next week here is all mid to upper 30's as well, a couple close to 40. Should turn the lake into a mess. glad I don't have a shack out there. We did have some trucks out there on Friday, with the lead 1 pulling a smaller double axle wheelhouse. He had a big V plow on the front and plowed a road just about all the way across the bay, so sled travel just got trickier. I took our sled for a short ride yday & almost got stuck so on the return trip I slid by that spot to see what was happening, it was all slush. That's all i got for today, better get some bfast so we can :snow2:  Have a good 1, guys.

Ya I had to plow twice too HD.  I am loving it now that I got the plow truck all fixed up.  98 Dodge.  Put new u joints in both sides front.  New shocks all around.  New wheel bearings front.  New thermostat.  Cool new Cooper tires all around.  No more knocks and squeeks.

Well back to work today.  I am signed up for PERA Retirement workshop in July.  Pretty sure I am pulling the plug at the end of October.   :sleazy:  Sure like those days off.  Will actually bring more home retired than when working.

Mornin gents, got 12* for our start. Could make 40 today according to the Bemidji weather station, we'll see. Don't think we quite had the 30 mph winds yday, thankfully. Them westerly winds were blowing it off the lake pretty good but I don't think we got much more than 20 mph. I'll be finding somethin outside to do today, maybe even :fishing. Have a good Monday, guys.

21 at choretime, heading for a high of 38. Got the yard cleaned out again yesterday a.m. just in time for the Schwan's man to pull in the yard. Lambing over the weekend was a PITA. Last several ewes to come in have had a lamb in a set of twins that didn't want to get up off the deck. Was a single born yesterday the same way. Saving them so far but the time commitment is more than it's worth. Hopefully this warm up will help.

27 at choretime. High was about 39 for ten seconds yesterday but at least it warmed up. It definitely helped in the lambing barn. The lambs that were struggling suddenly came around. Keeping the barns dry and ventilated is the next challenge. Snow melt has started so mud season is upon us.
