Don't know if glenn will survive his surgery, as I think there's a good chance his wife will want to strangle him 1st. ;) Mornin men, we have 2 to start. More wind & cooler for us, they're sayin. We made mid 20's without much wind yesterday so we got out :fishing: for a couple hours or so. No luck :fish2: though. Hope it's a good game today.   :toast: Have a good day, y'all

Morning all.  Just got done shaving with my new Gilette Mach III Shaving "System".  lol Feels smooth as a babys butt.  Great way to start a day.  Nice not having to get up till 7:45.  How relaxing.  Wow -8 here.  Glad I have the new old snow plow truck.  I can do a little snow cleanup here with the heater on instead of on the wheeler.  :-)  I have had a darn cold kicking my butt since about Wed.  I think it peaked Fri night.  Starting to feel a little more chipper today.  Had two cocktails last night.  First in a few days.  Had to induce vomiting a couple of days ago after having a much needed (or wanted) brandy manhattan.  It just sat in my gut like a "Burning Ring of Fire".  A couple of hours later it was still burning so did the throne thing.  Felt much better.  Was a little gun shy last night but went down ok.  As I mentioned I am still on track to make a Halibut Chowder with some Halibut my Uncle brought back from Alaska.  May also cook some frozen mussels I bought at a seafood sale that have a broth in the package....???  Sure hard to not cook some meat on the smoker/grill too.  We'll see.  I have some Curley's Old Fashioned Weiner meat "melding" as RH says in the frig and will stuff them today.  HEY!  There is the meat for the smoker.... ha ha ha It is all coming together now.  A little slow yet with the cold thing I guess.  Well have a great Super Sunday..  Will check in later...

Morning Fellers. Boy what a come back last night in the big game. Never count Brady out I guess. I for sure thought they were done for. I was happy to see them win. I have always liked the Pats. 4 above and snowing here this morning. Sounds like we are going to get a few inches of snow over the next day or two. The wife and I cut 9 cord of tamarack this past weekend. Another 15 to go and then back to fishing. Well, have a good day all!

It's 5 here, probably got a inch or so over the weekend & another 2-3 comin by tomorrow is the call. Don't ever count the Pats out , I know that & I even was startin to think they were done. A FG after that catch Jones made  & Atl probably wins. Falcons defense was running on empty at the end. Have good day guys

The tricky part is picking a supplement or advantage plan and part D.

I never dealt with the VA even though I am a veteran.

Del, so far this is what I have.  retired federal employee with health coverage til I can't pay for it.  but the pension should cover that.  then being a vet and using the VA system that also gives me full coverage and prescriptions for $8 a month if needed.  knock on wood I only use blood pressure and anti-inflammatory pills for my shoulder.  if you have any thoughts I'll read them to help me learn more.  So the way I see I'll take parts A & B and skip D.  I have 2 months yet to think about this, thanks!!

Hi all.  Interesting to read the retirement info Mike.  As I have said I have 2 1/2 years max to work.  Maybe go at 64 not sure that would be 1 1/2.  Always need to learn more to be prepared so keep letting us know what you are learning.  Ya I was in the money till the darn Pats made the big comeback.  I heard a thing earlier in the week about how the 45 minute halftime is hard for teams to deal with.  It is so long that it gets you out of any momentum you may have had and is like coming out to a new ball game.  Well the Pats know all about it.  They are vets at the big game.  Atl is rookies at the big game and I think that made the difference.  Have the day off so am just going to putz around and get some things done around the house.  Will plow the drive and the yard to play with the new old truck....   I will try to post a pic of it here.

Geez! Afternoon already. A rough stretch after a good late week and weekend in the lambing barn. A little pneumonia has cropped up and zapped what was a nice ewe lamb despite our best efforts. Then this a.m. just as we were finishing chores a ewe started lambing. She fiddled around an hour or so without making much progress so got out the OB sleeves. Pulled a big dead buck lamb out of her. Gotta head for home soon to check on the ewe and see what else has transpired. I need to get a block of time large enough to catch up on Bobby among other things. Just not happening for me right now.
