I walked over to the new construction next door yday as I seen his hound dog sniffin around our compost pile, so I knew he was over there. He was the GC on our new construction here too. There was definitely more along the trail over there than on that side of our lot. Not bad though. Remind me again, 57, & I'll keep you posted as I think we will still be up here. We haven't really discussed it but I'm pretty sure we'll be here until at least the middle of next month.

Get the "waze" app for your phone.   crowd sourced info on traffic and other obstructions like the fuzz.   Also will suggest alternative routes if traffic is bad.

Morning feller, I'm back on the computer, so much better than the phone. I cancled out of a pike trip to help the guy who was on call this weekend, I swped my weekend for him, next weekend cause he called sick Friday with the crud. so next weekend I'm pike'n. so I'm on call this weekend. got some ground deer out and gonna make some red barn ballony. gota look at some vance and hinze exhaust for my wife bike. guy says they fit 97 to 2011 any soft tail, complete exhaust, 250 excellent condition, their about 800 new, just got reservations about buying parts privately. got some honeu do's to do and some tip ups to reload. have a great weekend guys.

Got 26 now. Wind finally let up about dark yesterday, had a light rain with it for a good portion of the day too. A couple groups out on the bay yesterday as well. There wasn't much going on outdoors for us yday as it was kind of nasty. I did take a short wheeler ride & found we have a little company as there's a couple vehicles up the road. Cooler but drier with less wind for us today so I may try to get out ,we'll see. glenn & mike together at the decoy show. Watch for updates on you local news.   Hope you have a good 1

Morning, ya it is a pain to type on phones....   Well I talked to a buddy yesterday about the ice by Long Point.  He was up there and still had his wheel house on the ice up there.  He and a friend were in his house and there was 30" of good hard ice.  All of a sudden he said there was a loud bang and his house started moving up and down.  lol  Of course they both stood up and looked out the window.  Just then a loud groaning started and lasted for a while....   As they were looking outside his pickup was bobbing up and down as if it was on a floating slab of ice.  He said now there were open cracks around the area.  They guy from Long Point said to get the houses off the ice, don't wait for tomorrow.   tut_tut-3315.gif  THEY DID!!!         Well we didn't do our corned beef and cabbage last night.  We decided to wait till today and take our time and enjoy it more.  Also I am going to go in and buy some more cabbages and make sauerkraut.  I think it was Glenn that has made it before.  I will do a couple of qt canning jars of it so think it was 2 cabbages per jar.  I will look in the archives for the thread on it.  As we  speak I am heating up some honey since it started to solidify.  I buy it from the local honey guy.  He said the stuff in the stores has been pasteurized so has lost most of the healthy benefits of honey.  The raw honey is the healthy stuff so I buy it by the gallon from him.  It is 16 here with snow flakes in the air.  Have a great Sat.

LPS............IF YOUR GOING TO TURN 2 FULL HEADS OF CABBAGE INTO KRAUT in qt jars................your gonna have way more then 2 qts..................more like 8!!!!!!!!

That's some scary stuff LPS , yep get the heck otta there.  I agree on the honey, used to get it from a buddy but it's been awhile.  Have fun at the show fellas!! Morning gents 28 here with some wind, just washed the truck and soon time for some homemade bacon and eggs.
Gotta go clothes shopping today for our upcoming trip, gosh I hate shopping for shoes and clothes.  After that hit the grocery store and will probably havta to hit the beer store on the way out... Talk at ya later!!
