1994 40hp Merc.  This thing sat with one of those blue plastic covers on it for 12 years at the local Marina.  The plastic lasted for a few years but was all ripped up when I got it so it was protected for quite awhile.  SO subtract 12 years from the motor and it has the use of a 2006 in my mind.  They had just put a new floor on it before they stored it so the floor is good too.  I put new plugs a new impeller, new fuel hose and a tank I had and hit the key and it started up immediately.  A buddy of mine was there and we both laughed like heck.  Couldn't believe it.

Morning all.  TGIF even thought I think I have to work tomorrow.  Will find out today.  Looking forward to golfing again this weekend.  As I said we go about 8 so noone else is there to laugh at us.   :happy1:  Supposed to be in the 80's for days and still no rain in sight to speak of.  We need it too.  The rain I mean not the 80's.  Some mid 70's would be perfect in my world...    :happy1:  Oh well enjoy.

Morning fellers. TGIF! No big plans for the weekend, get the oil changed in the truck and work on some projects. I wondered if anyone has tried night fishing the Rainy river in the fall for walleyes. You may have to give it a try LPS. Have a good one all.

Mornin' all. Week of sun and no rain predicted for swampville, with low 80's temps. Might have Summer after all. Dewpoint is still at 65*, though, with 85% humidity. No plans here, have a good weekend.  Maybe Barry will make those 'cukes in sauce yet this weekend..... give his taste buds a real treat.  :coffee:

Ayup, another intoxicated guy provides entertainment at the local bingo hall....  :doah:

This is probably the last thing you’d expect to see at a game of bingo.
A drunk man was arrested after allegedly running through a bingo hall with his pants down screaming ‘bingo’.
Darrin Waters was held for ‘inappropriately disrupting a Bingo game’, according to police in Louisville, Kentucky.
It was also revealed Waters has a YOLO (you only live once) tattoo on his knuckles, an attitude seemingly apparent in his care-free approach to playing bingo.
Waters was charged with alcohol intoxication and indecent exposure but it is unclear if he had actually won the jackpot prize or not.

Cripes, yer gettin' as bad as Glenn!!! ya gonna make 'em this time???!!!  :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

Ok, here ya go....!  I'm making them later myself today.... easy peasy to make.

                               Reb’s ‘cukes in sauce

1 very large cucumber (or 2 smaller ones)
1 purple onion
⅓ cup of Miracle Whip
1 good cup of thick sour cream
1 Tbsp sugar
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp. Dill weed
¼ tsp. Onion powder
¼ tsp. Garlic powder
⅓ cup white vinegar

Make sauce:

Combine all ingredients except for onion and cucumber, slowly folding in. Don’t stir fast!
Peel and slice cucumber thin, add to sauce. Cut 4-5 very thin whole slices off of onion; then quarter them. (End up with thin 1" long pieces) Add to sauce.
Refrigerate overnight, occasionally stirring.
Enjoy!

Good man! I'm betting you'll love them! Tip: Do NOT use "lite" sour cream!!!!! Sauce will thin way out......

I don't use "Lite" anything.  Except Jimmy's Lighthouse Blue cheese dressing.  The regular is too thick..   The "Lite" is just right.

Afternoon boys, we got to the lake about 9 yday. Sister & BIL were already here, so we had a project goin before we got unpacked. Later in the pm we tried tubin & their outboard started acting up, so we been tryin to get that figured out & think we have. Turns out the fuel pump is shot, we got a new 1 ordered. Anybody ever change 1, it doesn't sound to hard as BIL has a relative that is a marine mechanic & we talked to him about it. It's a '87 88 hp Evinrude & it looks to be a pretty easy job. Woke up early & couldn't go back to sleep so I went out :fishing:. Got 3 :fish2: but only 1 was a keeper, kept 2 though as 1 was hurt too bad. Our company is is leaving in the morning but will be back next Friday along with a few more. Some more play time in the water this afternoon for us. Might try my luck  :fishing: again tonight, we'll see. Hopin you have a good 1.

Shouldn't be too hard Gunner.  I think it is a square shaped box that bolts on the side of the block.  It has a few layers to it so don't let it fall apart as you install it.  Then just hook up the intake and out take hoses and you are good to go.

Piece of cake, Gunner. Just don't lose the main O ring and don't overtighten the body.. Should take ya 15 mns if ya take yer time. I like to cut 1/4" off the fuel lines before pushing them back on, too.  ;)

Well I have to work today.  Darn..  :angry2:  Gonna be another hot one today.  Went for a little cruise last night and was pretty nice on the river.  I heard them say maybe some thunder storms in the next few days.  Getting more brown grass every day here.  Some friends of mine went to a Guns and Roses concert this weekend.  Man would that be great!
