That depends. How big is the boat? Can you carry it? Seen more than 1 rig over on the PA for Bowstring by us with all 4 wheels on their truck in the water & the exhaust bubbling water while the boat is still 3-4" above the water. Probably gonna rain now, anyway

Nothing worse than being in line at the checkout and the old lady in front has a couple of ads and about 6 things, like bag of oranges, and apples etc that she wants price matched...   And it is the express lane....

Sly Vee doesn't price match either.  Never has, near as I can tell.

Fareway doesn't...I think Wally World was the only place around that did. Made it easy one stop shopping, just tell them the price and that was it. No need to show them the ad, they just punched the price in. Didn't hold anything up. A buddy that works there said they were told to accept and not argue the price; no need to look it up. That's trusting in people.

mornin all, good luck Coffee!!  some rain rain came yesterday, not needed!!!!  fired up the smoker/grill yesterday and tried smoking some hard boiled eggs..  they turned out good, maybe could have left them on a little longer..  but then I tried something I have never tried, I made some deviled eggs and they turned out very good too!!!  I only did 3 eggs out of 9 so I might have make another batch today!!!   got laundry going now and a bike ride later...   have a good day all!!

Just got up and am having coffee with a shot of raw honey in it as usual.  Going golfing soon.  Like to get there early.  Noone is there at 8 except us.  Nice and peaceful.  AND noone to laugh at us hackers.  We really enjoy it.  Then I am going to put a smome on our slabs of bacon.  I love doing that too.  Gonna get hot today.  86.  I wonder if a arc welding helmet is ok for the eclipse?

Mornin boys, 56 here when I stared movin. They didn't want to come out & play this morning, only 1 little sunny who had big attitude . Hope the resort hasn't closed their access glenn as I know 1, old Empty Bar, on our end of the lake has. Got some laundry on the line already & the lake assoc., has it's annual meeting today at noon. They're furnishing all the food, a lot of them are potluck, so I expect a good crowd. Had about 100 last year but it was a cool rainy day so that had some effect. A couple guys(biologist & regional manger) from the DNR usually are there to answer peoples questions. Supposed to make 80-85 today for us, we had some storms roll thru yday late afternoon/early evening but not enough water in the gauge to even see. Time to roll, hope you all have a good day & a great weekend

Nuttin wrong with a road trip fawk. Hi ya gents, lake was glass this morning so put on top water buzz bait and went out. The nortens were chasing it and missing so I put on a trailer hook and then I hooked a couple small picklers  . Had to laugh the wife is on a fit bit challenge with some friends, for a joke I mentioned at breakfast put it on the dogs collar and sure enough she did. Racked up a lotta steps quick,  but some reason my kid put it on the book of faces and she got busted.... ha ha.

funny bobb. awsome. woke up and got on the bikes about 830 with the wife. she had an assessment in roseau to do, so we made a bike ride out of it. then went out out for breackfast
 stoped and visited my cuzin and now home have a beer, prepted so walleye to smome to morror plus some to fry and corn on cob to go with it. have a great day!!

Morning all.  Having a cup whilst the cat watches me.  Sort of hazy today.  Me and the weather.  Had a good time last night.  Well today it is the ribs that hit the smoker.  Will slice the bacon the old fashioned way with a knife.  Never did buy a slicer yet.  I had one jar of pickles last week that didn't seal right so put them in the frig.  Couldn't wait any longer so tried them last night.  It has only been a week but they were pretty good already.  Now I am down to 40 Qts.  Not much going on here today.  Just going to relax I think.

Morning guys, 64 to start our day. A brreze goin this am so so I had a little more action  today, missed a few too. 1st  was a 2-3 # sucker then a couple crappie, had to keep 1 as it went belly up when I tried to release it. just as I got the boat back on the lift the wind switched, went WNW, & came up. Quite a bit cooler for the next 4 or 5 days is what the Bemidji weather station is sayin. In fact they're callin for lows overnight in the upper 40's & daytime highs around 70-75. Sounds like it's gonna blow pretty good here today & this wind direction makes the lake tough to fish, so probably no more boat time for me today.   Have a good Sunday everyone
