Morning, musta had alot of rain as a flash floods warning is issued. At the hospital waiting for a discussion with the surgeon. Sounds like she nay get to go home today. Seems to be in good spirits, but then I showed up!!!

well had those conversations. she WILL go home with a PICC as Reb so discribed it. this bacteria/infection is called MCSR, and apparently is quite resistant to antibiotics so they are treating it aggressively. looks like 6 weeks with the PICC. its all in the hands of the infectious desease DR. now...........and of course the friggin Ins company. no going home today.........maybe tomorrow or wed!!!!!

Glad to see your wife is getting care Glen.  Rain, rain and more rain.  Bought a boat cover from Fleet Farm and it doesn't keep the boat dry.  Going to return it today.  No holes in it so it's a piece of crap.  Only had it for a month.  Well going to start up a batch of jalapeno summer today.  Grind and mix and in the fridge overnight and stuff and smoke tomorrow.  Deer camp is coming soon.  So excited I just can't hide it.  good luck.

Well the Dentist thing went well yesterday.  Man we go every 6 months and I can't believe how fast those appts. come up.  Time is flying.  We went out to eat lunch and then grocery shopping after that.  There was this T-bone that was about 2" thick in the display case.  I talked the wife into letting me buy it.  That will be on the grill tonight.  It is in the frig all spiced up and ready to go.  Pics later.  May have to research how to cook one that thick.

mornin all, another 1 inch of rain this morning, too much water...  I'm off to see the periodontal dentist this morning down in Sartell,  wish mine were 6 months, they are 3 months apart..  but at least I still have my own teeth...  other than that not much going on today so have a good day folks!!

morning, LPS, thats 1 reason i have a slicer. we buy ribeye at sams, their too thick, 2 to 2.5 inches. i half freez them the slice them in half, nkw i have double the steaks for my money and they cook better.

'Morning all. A depressing one to start the day. Achey and sore. Cloudy and gray. First news I see is that Tom Petty DID die. Next thing I see is that a co-worker on the city's Pedestrian/Bike Council that sits across from me at our meetings died this weekend. Then the big one,...a woman with exactly the same name and middle initial as my Mom passed away...thought it WAS her obit. Even worked at the same place...unreal. Haven't heard from her in a few years, because the lying, control-freak  a**hole she married has turned her against me, and even controls their phone calls. I do figure that's how I'll hear of her passing...boy, I need to get out and do something to get outta this mood. Not normally me. Hope the sun comes out, it's warm anyway, 70* right now. Looks like a cool down the rest of the week. Enjoy your day, guys.

morning guys...............thanks for the well wishes for the wife. she got her PICC line in yesterday. discharge orders are in with the hip surgeons, now we need to get the infectious desease drs orders.............................and of course approval from the friggin insurance company to approve someplace to administer her antibiotics!!!!

morning, 40 here, love the cool temps. slept awsome last night, just got our new temperpedic adjustable bed. for us old guys with back and hip issues, man dose this bed releive them, befor this we had a beds by design foam mattress, cost us 2 grand, it crlppled us almost, just gave it away. this temperpedic is awsome, had a little adjustment period lastnight but didt wake up crippled. have great days guysm

morning, sue came home last nite. this morning a home health care nurse is coming to show us how to administer the antibitoc via her PICC line. this process lakes an hour each time and she needs to do this twice a day for 6 weeks. then add my stepdaughter and granddaughter to the equazion and i'm ready to punch both of them in the friggin mouth. glens not in a good mood!!!!!!!!!!
