Cool a Cercopia might have spelled wrong.. Largest moth in North America same family of moths they make silk from in China.  There are Luna and Polycythemus moths also in MN.

OH YA!! Kool corney! I collected moths with a cousin 1 year older and my brother 2 yaers younger, butterflys and a few Minnesota strange insects, When I was 8-12 yaers old>>The ole man who is 99 years old till August when he hits 100,Said to my mom he thinks he's rasin a sissy!!
 I still have some mounted in cotton in fanny farmer candy boxes with the lids cut an glass installed for lookin!! Didnt see my first Luna till 1976 when I moved back to Mn 30 miles south a Duluth but the cercopie (I use yer spellin) an a Polyphemus I had mounted in the candy box..Birds an butterflies,Most moths I do know.Nice to see someone else does also!!
