I suppose you have probably seen it but google:  13 year old shoots elk and watch that video.  It is about the same as this video but cool that it is a little kid.

I would never take that shot. I have had it happen though(turned to run when I released arrow) if you know your ability and what your equipment can do It can be a effective shot(straight to the heart) but your error margin will be small and you won't have much of a blood trail.

Thats KOOL!!! and a young kid holding on target no buck fever there!! Even witha 6X6

 Thats the spot in the old time stock yards that pig stickers would insert a 8 inch knife in a hog wiggle the blade and kill a hog in seconds.They had to grab the hog by a ear lift the head an stick!! Most those guys were missin fingers.

 I'd take that shot maybe out to 20 yds but there would have to be no obstructions in the arrows path.
