I have had lots of tastes of humus but never pigged out on it.  Yet!   Reminded me of bean dip.  I have heard it is a healthy dip.   :rotflmao: :rotflmao:  I will say no names..  Need to delve into the humus thing more though.

Glad to hear you liked it.  We like Corned Beef Hash too and that is what we have always bought for years.  This Roast Beef Hash is a new thing for us.  Corned Beef is a little richer flavor.

Have to find the list.  We just updated it too.  We need to name it so it is easier to find.  He never heard of humus in his protected little world so he doesn't even know if he likes it.  LOL  So we can't add it yet.

Thanks.  That must be the new one.  I can't remember what the last thing was that he didn't like.

Panko is on there twice.
How in the hell does a person not like bacon? With all the tomatoes Glenn grows, and no BLT’s?

Sorry I do see Panko on there twice.  A bread thing.  Almost tasteless but a nice powder to help thicken things up or help to put a coat of something on fish etc.  The most neutral thing we probably eat.   Not really a taste to it but will absorb butter etc. to make things taste better.  I have never ever heard of anyone not liking bread crumbs when used like this.....  Except Glenn...

Well I saved the day, or at least the sausage.  I made another 2 lb batch of breakfast sausage cuz it was so good.  I put 2 small patties in a vac bag.  I had my first with 2 eggs the other day and it was terrible.  I could hardly eat it, but I did.  I could taste the marjoram or something real strong.  I knew I measured right but after some thought I didn't remember getting the salt out of the cupboard.  Aha!  So I thawed out the 8 pkgs and remixed with the 2 tsp of salt for 2 lbs and it made a world of difference.  Just had some in the name of research.  Excellent!  And no preservatives in it.  Made patties again prefroze them and put back in vac bags and the project is completed.  Man retirement has it's stress too!

Glenn was talking about pork and kraut last week.  I get a lot of ideas for meals from youse guys on here.  I made a pork loin sauerkraut in the crock pot thing the other day.  Was great!

I plopped a pork butt in the crack pot this morning. Put a dry rub on top & some pineapple juice with chunks around the sides. I was gonna smoke it, but I got lazy.  :rotflmao:

I cooked it for 7 hours on low, till it got 190 internal. Pulled it out of the crack pot, let it rest for 20 minutes. I separated the solids from the juice in the crack pot. Then, I separated the fat from the juice. Then I shredded the pork butt, put it back in the crack pot & added the juice back in on low.

When served, add a little BBQ sauce......was dang good!  :happy1:
