This may be a once in a life time thing for me.  I always think a double yolk is so cool but this morning I cracked three eggs.  Two for me and one for the wife.  ALL THREE WERE DOUBLE YOLKS!!!  Yes I am yelling...   :rotflmao: :happy1:  They were Jumbo eggs from the store since I ran out of the eggs from the neighbor.  I will try to post a pic of them...

I used to get them from an egg plant once in awhile they are fun to mess with folks when they don't know what's coming at them!!!  years ago!!  I might have to go see if I can find them again!!

that would be one deviled egg!!!!!

I know how you feel Reb.  Yesterday hiking up and down the streams of the north shore was slower than usual.  Really felt it in the legs.  Don't know how many milies we walked but most was uphill.  Going down wasn't bad.  Some trails were wet with mud and clay.  Fell on my arse a few times.  My mind thinks I'm still like I was years ago and my body is slowly convincing stubborn me that I should walk slower and take my time.  Not giving this up until I have to.  I've fished the north shore since the 60's.  good luck.

I may brown a couple of 1" thick pork chops from a hog we bought from the neighbor.  Will do in a cast iron pan.  Then add some onions and spuds sliced and throw it in the oven for an hour.  One of my favorite meals and super easy.  OR if the wife supersedes me it will be a Bernatello pizza.. Either one will be great on this cold day...

Reb you got a good dinner plan for a cool night.  Try the Ambassador old fashion wiener dog next time.  I worked for them for one year back in the early 70's at my first try in the meat buisness.  good luck.

Thanks, RH. I did try those, RH...a bit too "mushy" for me...(almost all seem to be) maybe I got the wrong ones? Even the Schweigert old fashioned natural casing ones taste nothing like they did a couple years ago.

Ambassador our my faves! tried every meat place near cept the one 57 mentions in Richmond,Even tried makin our own.Just got a stuffer and hope it makes a difference?? The  Schweigert old-fashioned  seem a bit greasy but close to ambassadors their my second choice.Think it was about 1967 I loaded 50 lb batches a meat into Schweigert grinders on the west side of St.Paul Mn down Robert street. 1966 I cut cow intestines into 3 ft lenghts for that same place cept that was for ??Large sausages.Summer jobs an I was the richest kid on the block!
