Tonite....BBQ's on corn-dusted kaiser rolls, aka SLOPPY JOES. (not to be confused with Biden trying to eat)
Got a small container of leftover tomato paste I had frozen, so that's going in there with the ketchup & BBQ sauce. Plus using up a half green pepper and purple onyum. Nothing goes to waste around here! Mayhap have some country beans with bacon and some chippers to round it out.

Chicken chow mein tonight, diced thigh meat in a sesame/ginger bath for the day, then whip up some sweet  steamed "sticky rice"  after chicken is slowly sauted for a couple hours in a secret sauce, with  button mushrooms and waterchesnuts.

Well, Glenn should be happy...looked everywhere for my mashed sweet taters. Three stores....said they no longer carry them.  Like trying to find watermelon pickles around here. :mad1:

I used to like them at Thanksgiving when they were swimming in brown sugar juice/gravy and covered with marshmallows.  Once a year thing.  Now I like to cook them just like a baked potato and put a lot of butter on them.  They are healthy as heck and nice taste change from a spud.

Well we be having Glenn's Dump and Bake hotdish tonight.  Went and bought Italian meataballas today.  Sounds great on a cool night to cook something in the oven.

Ya it kind of looks like lasagna.  Looks good.  I may add olives to your hot dish Glenn.

That was pretty darn good Glenn.  I added some crumbled up potato chips on top too.  Will have it again.  Thanks for the recipe.  So easy too.

well I'm making a chicken hotdish today...   colored peppers, onions and some jalapenos.. using cream of mushroom soup as a sauce, and extra mushrooms too...    but instead of pasta I'm using Reb's favorite veggie's!!!   a blend of green and yellow bean with some baby carrots.. I have it simmering away now and it looks and smells good!!!   :happy1:
